Hannah Messerschmidt

Hannah Messerschmidt (Fiddle) is thrilled to join the cast of I'll Fly Away as a fiddle player. In high school, Hannah spent her summers performing with the WNY Fiddle Kids, and disappointed everyone around her by practicing fiddle far more than she ever did classical violin. A graduate of Houghton University, she is grateful for professors who pushed her to keep singing, fiddling, and dancing, despite being a piano major! Hannah can usually be found behind a piano at Lincoln University...or any piano within reach, really. She has played for Let Freedom Ring! and music directed a number of Jr. theater productions (Aladdin JR, Moana JR, Oklahoma JR, Matilda JR, Lion King JR). Past credits include Rock Around the Clock, Newsies, Into the Woods, Oklahoma, and She Loves Me. Hannah can't wait to share this show with all of you! She would like to thank her friends and family for their unconditional love and support, and Heather Pennington for teaching her how to fiddle.
