These shows, sometimes also referred to as Youth Editions, are 60-minute long adaptations of musicals. With two age ranges for these productions (10-16 and 13-18), camp can be for anybody, from the kid who is just starting out to the seasoned teen who wants a chance to perform with friends. Auditions follow a more open-ended format with students choosing their own audition material. Within these productions, there are opportunities to feature the full cast in a variety of ways and students have the opportunity to experience a more realised production with a small set, curated props to support the story, and costumes and lights to layer on more fun!

These shows are abbreviated versions of musicals, designed to last 30-40 minutes. With an age range of 8-12, these shows are specifically geared toward those who are earlier in their theatre journey, perhaps even at the very start! Auditions will have clear parameters and will stick more closely to the material in the production for those who are new to a casting room. These productions are creatively designed to feature the full cast and hone in on each actor’s skillset, so that they can build a strong framework of performance without the added pressure of sets, costumes, and props.

Servant Stage Youth Companies (Teen Company, Apprentice Company, Junior Company, and Kid Company) are training grounds for performers ages 10-19 who wish to continue to hone their theatre skills, and who are considering pursuing theatre as an interest beyond high school. Students receive weekly classes in acting, dancing, and singing taught by an experienced panel of instructors from here in Lancaster as well as visiting industry professionals. Students also receive specialty lessons in audition preparation, headshot/resumes, networking, and general theatre disciplines.

Servant Stage offers weekly in-person, drop-in classes for all ages! Classes include dance, acting, improv, and more, with a variety of instructors. In keeping with our mission, all classes are offered as Pay-What-You-Will.
