July 7 | ACTING with Megan Lynn Schmidt

Class Description

Mask work has been a critical part of theatre since its very beginning! Join us for an evening of creative exploration as we allow our inner actors to express themselves behind the safety of a mask. When masks restrict our use of facial expression, physicality takes over. We will be learning some history behind mask work, how to 'become' our masked character, and work through exercises to release physicality and play. If you've ever wanted to lose yourself in a character, this is the workshop for you! We look forward to playing and letting loose!
